Making Scrap Donations
People and businesses kindly donating surplus materials and art supplies to us are what allows us to provide our Scrapstore service.
If you have unwanted craft materials, paper, fabric etc. or surplus items from your home or work that could be re-used in creative ways or for play activities, please consider giving them to us.
To make donations, please drop them off to us in bags or boxes during our opening hours – come to the front desk and let us know you are leaving them with us. If you are dropping off donations from a car, you may be able to park briefly next to the steps whilst unloading, but please move your vehicle as soon as possible to keep the entrance clear for others. Thank you!
Collections can sometimes be arranged for a large volume of donations, (e.g. a car full) if you are unable to bring them yourself. Please get in touch with us if you have a lot to donate in one go.
In general the things we accept are components of creative, DIY or play activities. If you have completed craft projects, clothing etc. it’s more likely to be a good fit for a charity shop. We are also grateful for items that we can use to display and store scrap materials. Below are a few examples:
